Type of information we collect

We only collect information about you if we have a reason to do so–for example, to provide our Services, to communicate with you, or to make our Services better. Therefore it’s important that you gain clarity on how we collect the information about you.We collect the following personal information about you:

  • Contact information such as name, e-mail address, phone number, billing information, helpdesk, information you input into open text fields.
  • You also have the option of adding a display name, job title and other details to your profile information to be displayed in our services.
  • Information about your business such as a company name, industry, company size, company contact information.
  • Content information about you that may include viewed content and training interactions
  • Contact information provided when seeking technical support, including summary of problem and attachments that may be helpful in resolving an issue.
  • Information about you when you visit and interact with our website and training portal. This may include the links you click on, the file attachments you download, frequently used search terms.
  • Device information including your connection type and settings, information about your operating system, browser type, IP address, URLs of referring/exit pages.
  • We use Google Analytics, Freshsales and Fresh Marketers Snippet to analyze traffic to our website. Google Analytics does not create individual profiles for visitors. It only collects aggregate data to help us understand how visitors use our website so we can maximize its effectiveness. When you create any account or registration, or enter into any transaction, on behalf of another person on this website, we will request personal information about that individual. You must obtain the consent of other individuals prior to providing us with their personal information and you must ensure that such individuals are aware of and accept this Privacy Policy.

  • Understand and analyze the usage trends and preferences of our users, subscribers and partners, and perform data analysis to understand the distribution of various metrics across the subscriber base.
  • Ensuring the security of our products, services and users, executing and improving our loss prevention and anti-fraud programs.
  • Troubleshooting when you send us error reports.
  • Comply with applicable legal requirements and industry standards and our policies.
Storage of Information

Your personal information will not be stored in our database for longer than its intended purpose.Unless otherwise provided, Iapps retains personal information for the following periods:

  • If you have registered for a user account, your account information will be retained for as long as you maintain an active account.
  • Information collected to engage in transactions with our customers, suppliers and business partners, and to process purchases of our products, services, tools and contents, will be retained for the duration of the transaction or services period, or longer as necessary for record retention and legal compliance purposes. Iapps does not store credit card informatoin.

In certain cases such as to ensure compliance with legal or contractual arrangements, level of information needed to protect iapps’s sites,networks and systems against cyber breach, etc. Iapps may retain personal data for a longer period of time than considered necessary against the collected purpose.

Information Sharing & Disclosure

We understand the confidentiality if the data provided to us and we don’t share or disclose your data to third parties except our partners and vendors as set forth below:

Credit card information With credit card processors for purposes of processing credit card transactions in connection with the subscriber’s contract with Iapps. We do not store complete credit card information.
Contact Information With our business partners, with your consent, for the purposes of providing you with products or services tailored to your interests and preferences.

 

In addition, we disclose personal information if legally required to do so, if requested to do so by a governmental entity, or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; (b) protect the rights or property of Iapps; (c) prevent a crime or protect national security; or (d) protect the personal safety of users or the public.

Security of your Information

The security of your personal data is important to us. We use appropriate physical, management, and technical measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss. We use various security measures to protect the personal information we collect including use of a totally separate database for each client, as appropriate to the type of information, including encryption, firewalls, and access controls.

Ensuring GDPR Compliance

At Iapps we always strive to maintain the highest degree of integrity in dealing with potential and past clients, maintaining confidentiality and protection of all sorts of personal information received in the course of providing the service. 

GDPR is the European Union’s new general data protection regulation, which replaced the Swedish Personal Data Act (PuL) on 25 May 2018. To stay compliant with latest legal obligations and protect the privacy of our users Iapps is strictly GDPR compliant.

User’s Privacy Control and Rights

As per the GDPR you are entitled to the following rights:-

  • Right to access: You have the right to request copies of your personal data that we have stored in our database.
  • Right to rectification:  In case the data stored is incomplete or incorrect you have the right to request that the Iapps corrects and completes the information.
  • Right to erasure: You have the right to request that Iapps erase your Personal Data, under certain conditions. Erasing your data will result in (a) You will not be able to use Iapps applications anymore (b) Your personal data will be deleted, and it will be an irreversible action by the system.
  • Right to restrict processing: You have the right to request that Iapps restrict the processing of your Personal Data, under certain conditions. You will not be able to use Iapps applications after restricting right to process information.
  • Right to object to processing: You have the right to object to Iapps processing your Personal Data, under certain conditions.
  • Right to data portability: You have the right to request that Iapps transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
  • Right to complain to a supervisory authority: In case where you feel that we have misused your personal information or there has been a breach of some kind, you can directly contact us or complain to the legal authorities.
  • Right to withdraw consent : To the extent that we are processing your information based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent will result in (a) You will not be able to use Iapps applications anymore (b) Your personal data will be deleted, and it will be an irreversible action by the system.
  • Right to oppose direct marketing: If you wish to not receive promotional, product update and other marketing related email you have the right to opt out of it. The best way to do it is by unsubscribing from our email list.
